It's official, I need to get a life. I admit that I dream about car washes. I have this one dream where I drive up and a fleet of dumptrucks is dumping 6' tall mounds of dirt all over the parking lot, in the bays/pits, everywhere! I just park, stunned, wondering where to begin the cleanup.

I don't want to make you nervous I.B. Washingcars, but last night you were in my dream. I was looking at your wash where you'd installed a WWII era airport control tower as your equipment room. It was actually pretty cool, if not impractical. It had the large windows slanted outward at the top, and you'd mounted a glass-front vendor in the middle of one of the windows.

Bizarre giving that car washing isn't my real job.

P.S. The dumptruck dream didn't come out of no where. It was no dream when a few months ago my neighbor called me and said: "You better get to your car wash quick, 2 dumptrucks are in your open bay with their beds up, dumping gravel." I whipped into the parking lot so fast my anti-lock brakes were buzzing and I thought I might run over my own vac island. After a nonstop barrage of butt-ripping and arm flailing toward the 4 signs they ignored..."No habla."

Not nervous at all, it's kind of flattering in a terrified out of my mind kind of way.

Car washing is my regular job and of course I have all kinds of wierd dreams about them. I just didn't realize other operators were dreaming about me.

I would call mine nightmares, not dreams. They usually center around a day were the sun is shining, the cars are dirty and lined up out to the street. I look around and all my help has called off or failed to show up for work. I stand there wondering why I had just paid them to stand around for the last week of rain.

I have dreams about previous jobs and former co-workers (in fact had vivid dreams about each the last two nights) but I don't have any about the wash.

My carwash dreams are fun. My favorite features a little IBA in a tiny garage next to my house. It's in a nice little neighborhood on a side street in a town that resembles Longmeadow, MA.

Despite its out of the way location, this wash is always busy. Sometimes I need to get in the garage to get at a shovel or my mower but I can't; there's a car in there being washed! These dreams are pure magic.:)

Waxman,

Your dreams explain a lot. I think you should test the chemicals you are using and their affect on you. Too happy for me ;)

My naked chicks dreams are usually really good, my carwash dreams are usually more of the nightmare type. I had one a few days ago where my attendant decided to take down all the bay dividers to "open things up".

My day dreams are filled with selling and packing everything up and moving to somewhere warm and sunny year round. I find myself asking my wife "why do we live here again!?"

This place in Central Mexico works for me http://www.eagerrealty.com/listings/listings6_patterson.htm More pictures here http://picasaweb.google.com/mari.patte/VillaPatterson#

One of the best climates in the world, lots of stuff we are use to (like Home depots & wal-marts). Great health care, good food, fresh vegitables and fruit year round and cost of living 60% less than average US COL. Property taxes are $80 /year!!!!

Big

Some people say what we perceive as dreams is actually 'real life' and wakefulness is the dream. So who the heck knows.

My chems are definitely strong but that's not it.:)

I can be as negative, fearful, paranoid and tragic as the next guy, but I snap out of it fast because I am a drag to be around at those times. Just ask my wife.:D

I think you need to transfer those negative dump truck thoughts and turn them into hot women vacuuming . I have managed to do this but i think i'm having those thoughts while i'm awake at the wash, so something is still wrong.

I had a happy dream that the recent $3 dollar wash down the street from me blew away in a wind storm.
