I bought a trigger-type and extended the hose - it worked really well for the machine I used it on because it puts out a small amount with each squeeze, and some of the fittings were pretty hard to get to. I still use it for lubing my truck. I think it's this one:

Pistol grip is a definite must. A long hose is helpful too. Lincoln makes good grease guns.
I have a battery operated gun with a 36" hose. The battery operation is overkill, but the long hose is a must on the Coleman fusion X because you have to snake through all kinds of stuff to get to many of the fittings.
