Would you put a 10'x10' opening on a new IBA building or a 12'wide x 10'high?
I am in the south and don't have to have doors. I think the 12' wide would allow the action to be seen from the highway better and easier for the customers to navigate in. What are your suggestions?

I have a 10X10. I like doors because our winters can get harsh. They have minimized my "load errors" when customers go in the bay early, or aren't paying attention. Like a gate. They work well!

Seems like I may be in the minority but as long as you don't need doors I think 12' would make the bay more roomy and accommodating to customers.

I would also go 12 wide if you can. That being said all my doors are 10 wide. On One end I do go 12 feet high so that the bay can be used for other things in the future if needed.

My auto is 10x12, only opens to 10 foot normally. I started leaving the front door operational all year. Not only does it control traffic and avoid driving in without paying; with 6 cars behind you.. it also acts as a wind break becuse we have a lot of wind here. 12 ft wide would be a heavier door and real heavy with ice on it.
