I am still in the process of converting a ss bay to an Automatic Mark 7,,I am adding 12' to the bay to make it 16x38, now the block layer will start soon on the addition and need to know what door opening would be the best? Thanks for all the help

You need at least one 10' high door to get the machine through. I would make that the one facing the street. The other one I would make just 8' high. 10' of width is ample for both. I have one wash with 12'W X 10'H openings. I have seen no benefit and more costs involved with the oversized openings. The bigger doors are heavier and harder to raise and let more heat escape when they open. Doors are a very high maintenance item. Don't put in a huge dollar eater when a smaller dollar eater will do better.

Here's a pic of my SS to auto conversion. We had no room for extra RO or reject storage so we put the tanks in the bay.

Awsome Improvise//I might have to do the same/I ave a 40'' door to the equip room and a 46'' tank, thought about bringing it in through the attic//,,what do you do with the reject water?

The reject goes into the tank to the far right and then is repressurised out to the gantry. The other two tanks are RO water. I am running the wash off a 1" water line and have supply issues. I make RO water only at night so I need a lot of storage.
