You can buy one from anywhere you want. Their prices aren't really too bad when you are a support group member. Do you have someone who understands how to set it up on your network?
I made this mistake once with a Datatrax Printer. Saved a few bucks but when it arrived it seemed there were all sorts of dipswitches that needed configuring and I spent more in time and agravation setting it up than I saved.
So, If I ordered the same make and model I would hope it is plug and play. I believe my support is upt to date so I will call them tmmorrow.
The main reason to buy directly from DRB is their generous warranty policies. Even if the device is past the manufacturer warranty period, they will still replace it for a small fee.
