Dryer Heat?

Bubbles Galore

I have been told by several vets/groomers that it is not good to use heated air on a dogs coat...but I am not liking how cool the air coming out of my blower is. With the dog being wet, it is making it very uncomfortable especially as we get into this cooler time of year. Does anyone have any reasonable solutions for warming up the air?

Thanks in Advance.

What about the system used in hand blowers featuring warmed air in rest rooms?

Not the Dyson dry blade thingy but the traditional ones that everyone graffitis with the words 'wipe hands on pants' as the final instructions step?

p.s. I heard that dogs also hate lying next to a fire or hot wood stove. Especially hunting dogs.

The motors create some heat, but yes, you should not use heat as dogs coats and skin are very sensitive. My dryers make up for the lack of heat with the velocity.

I'm wondering too; what would be a cost-effective way to heat that sort of volume of air? I've read the same thing that it shouldn't be hot like a hair dryer, but I'm sure it would be nice to have it blowing around 90-100°.

So is it wise to use luke warm water for the wand in a petwash as well, given the sensitive skin on dogs?

Seems like a nice money-saver!

My water 95F in the winter and less in the summer. But I don't think you can compare water and air temps. Dry skin is the blower heat issue.
