Got a call today from a local Bar-B-Q. They put in $4 on a SS bay but ran out of time before they could wash the Caterering trailer and wash the truck pulling it. Wanted me to give them more time for nothing. I said sometimes I come into your place and get a $5 burger but I am still hungry. I don't recall you ever giving me a free burger. I should not have said it but really, $4 does not get unlimited time at my place. OH and I spend probably $100 to every dollar I ever got from them.

I had a local restaurant owner park his truck advertising his eatery on my lot (vacant lot adjoining my carwash) I asked him to remove it or at least pay something for parking there.
He told me its a free country and he could park his truck anywhere he wanted to, and would not move it. I said "ok". I went to his eatery and had a nice lunch. When the waitress brought the tab, I told her I didn't want to pay for it. She freaked and called the owner to my table. I explained to him that I should get a free meal as he got free parking on my property. He didn't like it but comped me the meal. That afternoon, he moved his truck.

I had a problem with a commercial neighbor that didn't have enough parking and wouldn't pay me anything for his customers using my lot, so I started towing away his customer's cars, eventually he came around to my way of thinking.
