Anyone using the Elektrim motors for a few years for their dryers would like to share the experience?

I have been using the standard cast iron motors and they obviously eventually corrode and get damaged from all the moisture and short cycling.
Elektrim has this aluminum motor with stainless fan cover and says their seals and windings are designed for short cycling and high moisture environment.
They are lighter as well.

The downside is that they cost 1.8 times the regular WEG motor.

I am looking to see if they last longer as well, to make the investment worthwhile. anyone has made the trade and can share?

Thank you.

I had a Mark VII IBA that had aluminum motors. I had one that the mounting flanges corroded and broke off. This was an onboard dryer, and luckily it didn't fall off, but I know someone that did have one fall. This was not unusual with these and I think they quit using them relatively quickly after this issue arose.
