Folks,

I had a customer, for some reason or another, stay in the bay during the whole dryer cycle. The dryers shut down. She pulled forward, and the dryers kicked on for another full cycle. I ran my car through, and it did it again. Is this normal. I don't figure it's a big deal, as most people know to drive forward during dryer cycle. ;)

Yes this is normal. The dryer itself starts timing when the vehicle leaves the wheel well switch. If you lowered your driveoff timeout it should take care of this. Its not a big issue but starting and running a dryer twice for one vehicle can cost some money.

Thanks! So I'd lower the drive off time out to a time lower than my 60 second dryer time, correct?

Sorry was in Nashville and didn't want to tell you wrong. I dug out a configuration for my old 4000. Set your stuck in bay timer to the same as your dryer timer. So like this one was setup.... Dryer Timer 80 seconds, driveoff timer is 100 seconds, and stuck in bay timer is set to 80 seconds. That should help
