Ever come to the wash and find yourself doing more projects then you expected to do or wish you didn't have to do when you got there? as I walk the wash I imagine the "Would of, Could of, SHOULD OF!" in the design of some aspects of our building and equipment layout that I didn't see it on the blueprints but as soon as it's up and time passes certain ideas come to mind and wonder if it would of could of worked and should I implement those ideas today?

Yes, I think many business owners have similar thoughts. Tweaking your operation is what prevents stagnation and keeps your creative juices flowing.

It's normal to think of things you would change if you were to re-do a carwash, detail shop, lube business. That's how you improve. My biggest area of growth needed is to see things from the customers' point of view. Too often I think my way is right when it may not be exactly what works best for the customer.

Keep your 'to-do' lists current and rotating and keep making improvements based on your ability, cash flow and time available and you will see the results.

I suppose it is fairly normal, unless you are continually changing things around at big expense. Or unless the carwashes become an obsession, and when not working-- spend your time on car wash websites, or dream about the washes, or ones vacation is to the ICA. Nothing like my life?!!

For a minute there I thought you were talking about me I only "utilize" half my spare time on car wash web sites. The other half is spent on Vegas sites
