Lost my 24 vdc and I have narrowed it down to the gantry (I think). I have taken all power off of prox's and sensors but still no luck. How do you recommend to further check the cables and such?

At the gantry in the control cabinet remove the 24vdc wires from the terminal strip one at a time to trace where the short is from. When you remove the problem wire then everything else 24vdc will come back on in the gantry. Good Luck !!

I bet it is one of the banner multi channel eyes. The short can be in the cable connection. Feel them and see if one is hot to the touch.

Thought I would add is not always the banner eyes, but it happens quite frequently. The eyes do go bad on occasion but the connectors seem to be a real weak spot. I ah e had good luck repairing many of them by cutting off the connectors, soldering the wires, and covering with heat shrink. I have had some bad prox switches cause a short too, though.

Turned out it was the cable to the passenger can eye that had shorted out. Thanks for all the help!
