So is there anything new out there to clean the mats? Had a customer call requesting one but was shell shocked at the prices. I think there are just the two ones from Dralco and some foreign company. They both work nicely, but I was hoping to find something simpler and cheaper.

The Dralco unit may be a bit costly but otherwise it's ideal. It does its job extremely well, it's very low maintenance, and parts are not expensive. Anything "simpler and cheaper" is going to sacrifice something major.

I've had the big brusher JKO BBX for a while now and all I've done is replace the brushes on it once. I don't charge for it. It's popular with the customers.

A friend of mine who has several express washes has gone from the BBX to the rhino mat wash and dry. He seems happy with them.

I agree with MEP001,I 've had my unit 12 years and no problems. It's not a money maker though.
