Folks,

My IBA is gonna needs some love. The walls are FRP. There aren't any big holes. The damage is minimal. So here is my question.

Is there a way to give FRP, in a touchless automatic bay, a facelift without tearing it all off, pulling off the hardware, and re-installing new FRP? I feel it just needs a sprucing up.

Any advice for FRP love would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Mike

I personally dont like FRP after it gets about 3/5 years old. It starts to yellow and get brittle. In an automatic if budget was unlimited I would use a Trusscore like product. For my washes on a limited budget, I took down all the old FRP and painted. We had been using MAB sea shore white for years and held up well. Sherwin Williams discontinued that when they merged and we now use resilience which seems pretty close to the sea shore. They hold up well to acid washing and we clean walls several times a week. Easier to touch up some paint then the FRP or other wall panels.

I use a wall cleaner from my chemical supplier. It does ok. Maybe need more strength. Anyone use ZEP degreasers from Home Despot?
