Gantry replacment D&S 5000, or i5000?

Thanks to a bad driver and a good insurance company I am in the market for either a new gantry for my D&S 5000 or possilbly a used IBA to upgrade. First question, anyone "upgrade" from the 5000 to the i5000 gantry? Pros Cons? the 5000 is made of stainless, the i5000 is made of aluminum I don't know if its painted, powder coated or anodized. the i5000 is a couple grand less money and lighter weight. Any informed opinions?

Budget is limited to the cost of replacing the damaged gantry,(35K) not the whole system.. looks pretty nice though.
