Liberal Media and Gas Prices

Has anyone else noticed the coverage the Liberal media is giving the rise in gas prices? When gas prices rose when Bush was in office they insisted that it was because Bush was "in bed" with big oil. Now that Obama is in office when they do talk about it, which is seldom, they say that it is actually a good thing because motorists will travel less. They say that means fewer traffic deaths and lower carbon emissions. I actually saw one broadcast that said the the rising gas prices will save over 1,100 lives. Do we need any more proof of where the media sides?

I have a feeling that regardless of what these Liberals paint this as that Obama is going to have a hard time in 2012 if gas prices don't go back down, the economy improves and unemployment figures continue to be high. All the bull$hit they put out may make them feel good but I don't think the voters will fall for it when they have no jobs, can't afford to put gas in the tank and their trips to the store takes more out of their pocket.

We all know the liberal media and their tactics are one sided. I am surprised they haven't come out and said it's still George Bushs fault. Obama has a team investigating oil prices. Did you notice they waterboarded the guy that gave up bin Laden.

My guess is that as far as Obama is concerned it's okay to assassinate the enemy but not waterboard them. Does that make sense? On the other hand not much that this Administration does makes much sense. Another comment - How can we offer Brazil money to develop their oil reserves and agree to buy it yet we have a moratorium on drilling our own reserves - something that would create jobs and lead toward self sufficiency? That makes just as much sense as the Osama deal.

Reminds me of a story about Bush a few years ago. Seems Bush was out on a boat with reporters, and needed to go back to shore for something. So he steps out of the boat and walks on water back to land. The next day the headlines all screamed, wait for it, "Bush can't swim !"
