Gearbox oil

What gearbox oil are you using in your Laser/WashWorld IBA's? Are you in a cold climate?

I am using Amsoil Synthetic in my vector. I had been using mobil 1 synthetic.
I got hooked on synthetics for that and some small engines. Lawn tractor, mower etc. Also using the synthetics in my Large Cat pump.

Just bought Valvoline synthetic gear oil for my 30:1 gearbox/reducer. Superior IBA. New England.

At presenat I use Cat. oil, but interested in changing.
How often do you change using the Synthetic oils?
