I saw an ad in a flying mag last night about a product made by Mothers Wax, called a Power Ball. It's a round ball about the size of a softball, made out of foam strips (a la friction wash) with an attachment to be used in a cordless drill. Picked one up at O'Reilly's this morning thinking it might be good on stainless steel. Used a little stainless steel cleaner/wax, fired up the ball and it did a really good job...even got around most of the nooks and crannies. Then, thought I'd try it on my vinyl signage and man it brighten them right up. I just kept going, it worked great on the plexiglass faces on my bill changers, Lexan cover on my ACW sign, vacs decals.

I'll have to wait and see if it now attracts dust, but so far it looks like a well spent $26.

There was also a product at the ICA show called the 'Flitz Ball". It's machine washable and they have a few sizes and arbor lengths. I think they also have the Flitz ball in the Kleen Rite and Sonny's catalogs. I plan to get one to try on aluminum rims and motorcycles.
