Do you know of a way to switch the GinSan GS-31B timer to count up? I'm looking at installing Cryptopay in my wash and I have count down timers in the bays now and don't want the added expense of new timers.
AFAIK, only Dixmor timer will work with count up at this time. Every other timer has to use count down. Ginsan says that their next timer will be able to use count up, due at the end of the year.
I didn't realize that. My big bay has a Dixmor in it and I knew that I could switch it to count up. Unless I replace the GS-31B I guess I'll have to go with count down in most of the bays.
Not all the Dixmor timers will work with Cryptopay in count-up mode. The DX-2000 and the LED-3 timers don't have a serial connection, the DX-2002 and the LED-7 do. I believe newer IDX timers also have the ability to run count-up.
that timer will work, but you should upgrade the firmware on it to ensure that it doesn't have any issues. There is a small glitch that could potentially occur with lower firmware versions.
The Dixmor v7.33 software will work but you should get your timers upgraded to the v7.36 software, costs about $20 or so. With the v7.33 software there is a remote possibility that when your customer swipes his card the timer will go to 99.99 minutes and the customer doesn’t get charged. This only happens when the planets and the gods are in alinement.
