This procedure applies to all AMS Visi-Combo vending machines put into service after October, 2005.
We are all trying to save energy costs anyway we can, so here is another way to do so in the vending machine. It is often overlooked as one of the choices that an operator can make in the programming of the vendor. In fact it is the last choice on the programming ladder called "EnergySensit". The programming in the vendor is defaulted to "Not Enabled" at the factory.
When it is enabled in the refrigerated vendor, the vendor learns when to expect vending activity and when not to thereby allowing the vendor to alter the internal temperature of the machine and saving energy. Less energy is used by allowing the temperature to rise. There are other choices that the operator can make when in that programming mode.
Using less energy not only saves money but allows the operator to operate a little "greener" than previously. The choice is yours to make.
