Just how bad is the dearth of carwash technicians? Is it industry-wide or more of a regional problem?
Could an independent like you support an apprenticeship program or have things changed so much that this would not be cost effective?

Just a thought.
I would think that any area where manufacturers &/or distributors went out of business would be a prime area for displaced car wash techs. Such as Mpls St. Paul with Specialty & AOK going out of business because of the nationwide economy. They would have to uproot where they live though.

Mac, I would love to come to work with you as a service tech...the only problem(s)...I'm too old, require too high of a salary, don't want to leave Texas. Other than that...I'm your guy.
