The only other wash in town is a C-store with a friction wash. The manager caught me inside the local bank one day a few years ago and told me - where bank employees and customers could hear - that their wash provided a much better wash then mine did. I responded with the usual: Some customers like friction, some won't go near them (I do about 5 times more business than they do). Well, today I see him at my wash buying my top wash. I drove down the street and sure enough the C-store wash bay was open.
The guy doesn't work at the C-store anymore - I guess he decided that, if he has to actually pay for his wash, the C-store may not be the best afterall.
