The display on our ACW5 is practically unreadable. Is it usually the display or the lens? Any help or suggestions will be appreciated.

Talk with Randy, and get the red dixmor LED display for your machine. I did it for my old machine and for the two new ones I just purchased and I love them.

The ACW 5 usually has a fluorescent display - they do go bad over time, and there's also a strip of plastic that protects it. Over time that plastic turns brown and blocks the display.

Check with Randy here on the forum. He is the one got dixmore to build the new red displays that work wonders on the hamiltons. He is also a Hamilton distributor and has all the info. and options.

SW Indiana melon fields.
I agree with the others. I have installed five of the red Dixmor displays. They can be seen 100 yards away. I have a brand new one of the original type that I was going to install, but decided not to waste my time after seeing the Dixmor at the show.

Yep - agree with everyone on contacting Randy. I put the displays on my autocashiers, glad I did. Can see them incredibly well. My cashiers face due west, so the summer sun is right on them, and you can read them with no issues. Now, I need to solve the problem of the WashGear displays not being able to be read in direct sunlight. Randy, have a solution for that?
