Hamilton Changer Error codes

I just replaced a hopper and was getting a 4/3 code - I changed out the wiring harness to a brand new one.. now the code is a 1/3 - Has anyone expereinced this - My controller now will not kick over back to green solid light... What might be the root cause?

A 4 -3 error code is a "Hopper 3 coin drop stuck" that would be a problem with the coin switch. A 1-3 is a "Hopper 3 empty" error. Is the Hopper plugged in at the bottom, do you have enough coins in the Hopper to cover the 2 stainless steel strips in the bowl? Hopper 3 is your primary Hopper in a single Hopper changer. Your problem is in the Hopper and probably not the Hopper, is this Hopper brand new or new used?
