Has anyone used a car wash consultant?

I'm considering one for improving my business. I know one or two members here is/are consultants, but was looking for some unbiased feedback on peoples' experiences.

FWIW I have used resources such as operators on this board, and the local association. Also attendance at early bird sessions at the ICA show and local shows.

Can you do better with a "Consultant"? I am not sure what they could bring to the table compared to the decades of experience found at the above listed resources. Typically one person has certain opinions. I joke that if you ask 5 operators a question you will get 10 opinions.

At the end of the day you will have to choose what opinions to follow.

While I have not used a consultant, I know of many former operators that went belly up because they didn't use one. Sometimes a fresh set of eyes will see things that you hadn't noticed.
