Heaving Concrete

Who else here is having extreme problems with cracking and heaving concrete with this Spring thaw? I saw one operator in Missouri who had tore out his back lot and replaced concrete with just gravel and alot of it.

Well...being in Missouri I can validate that claim. I about tripped over the seam in the concrete the other day when emptying the trash cans. It looked like the pad had dropped/lifted over an inch. Looked at it again this afternoon and it's almost back to normal. Couldn't believe it would move that much if a few days.

Happens here in the northeast all the time. It usually goes back down on the late spring. If it's really bad, you have to replace the blacktop and or concrete.
