Help! Dema 204 C and 2 Stack Rotary Switch

Hi, could someone recomend what injector to use, Ive read a load of posts but still can't figure what injector to use, Dema recommend the 203B,
MJ could you say what you use.

We have 60 PSI , and would like to loose as little as posible , would a 203c be better or something from GP, please advise

To answer & with some elaboration based on experience: Dema 203B 3/8 inch adjustable.

I notice in the Dema package it includes the clear tubing etc. I believe Trent &/or others at Nat'l Pride still use their 4 Paws somewhat unconventional injector setup & if you do a good job of describing they tend to be great support ... especially if you are supportive of them on at least a portion of their equipment. It is rare that we lose our prime but if it does ... the adjusting screw has to be turned a direction until it starts to flow again & then tweaked back again some. My main guy usually does this & he left for the day ... so I am not 100% sure if the initial turns are counterclockwise or the clockwise direction. We did successfully rebuild 1 or 2 of those 203Bs as an o'ring can eventually go bad & slight cleaning could be necessary.

One tip as the dog wash ages ... it is a good idea to replace all the clear tubing every few years because if it is not soft enough ... it effects the ability to maintain its suction prime.

The only difference between the 203B and 203C is how it proportions, the B has an adjustable screw and the C uses bushings of different sizes that push into the suction barb.

You're going to lose pressure using a downstream injector, probably about the same no matter what brand. If you think that might be a problem you might consider using an injector pump like the DEMA Mix-Rite.

I talked my worker this morning & he reminded me that there is a repair kit that Dema has for the 203B if an o'ring & teflon ball is needed. Just a cleaning & unplugging is mostly we have ever had to do. Put the dissembled valve in daylight to see a potential partial plug. On an initial or re-prime & adjusting chemical flow: With a tiny screwdriver turn in CC the adjusting screw all the ways. Then turn out CCW about 3/8 of a turn 9 times to get the chemical (shampoo or whatever) flow adjustment that we found to be optimal.

I have actually done the priming & adjusting myself but I needed some help to refresh my memory.

Our dog wash has proven itself to be a good fit & successful for us ... but not without a good dose of sweat equity. IMHO I would think this thread should be in the Pet Wash Category since I think it is more specific to dog washes.

I had all kind of trouble getting a 203B to suck chemical. I ended up going to a 201C injector. It comes with 3 different orifices so you can play with the water flow. I also use a booster pump to up the pressure to around 55 psi.
