Help on sorting quarters and dollar coins

The Scan Coin 303 says it off sorts the smaller coins. Our coins are 90 % quarters so off sorting quarters does not make since. Can it be set for quarters and the dollars just pile up and then be removed after the quarters are gone. Will this cause a problem? Is there a better solution?

As I just mentioned in another thread, you can drill holes in a bucket and use it to sift the quarters out through the bottom. It would go much easier if you had something to shake it for you.

How long have you been using dollar coins? Are you using gold dollars exclusively? You shouldn't have 90% quarters with d/c's.
I currently use both and .980 tokens and have found it easiest and probably fastest, too, let the 303 do the sorting. I drop into buckets rather than bags. I have recently begun to batch wash the coins before sorting. I'm not sure the fed appreciates the effort when I occasionally deposit quarters, but the counter, the changers and even the customers notice.

Are you using the bagging attachment for off-sorted coins? If you are only using the little off-sort tray, it certainly would increase the tie you spend sorting coins.
