Help w/ SoftGloss not cleaning backend

This is a somewhat recurring problem. What do you guys do, to get the SoftGloss to wash the back ends better?
Surely there is something that will help. The vehicle was nasty though. But, you can clearly see the brush marks, where it just didn't contact it enough...

Ryko was experimenting with longer rear brushes to reach those areas better, don't think they ever released them though.
Could increase the rear brush dwell/oscillate timers, may help some.
Could increase the drive reverse on trunk timer so the the top brush swipes down the back. Would need the 2' track extensions so it could drive far enough reverse to do it, this could create the possibility of getting the front arms behind the vehicle though (bad).
Could use the slower wash speed to give the arms more time react and wrap around the corners better or use higher rear air pressures.

Coach, in mid-2019, we implemented a change to the upper sections of the rear arm brushes to help improve wash quality on SUV's with their increased angle of the rear glass. The upper 7 sections are now using 72" length brushes rather than the original 60". This has made a big improvement

I wouldn't recommend increasing the rear arm pressures unless necessary. You want to see about 4-6" of crush so the tip speed of the brush can be maintained. Keep in mind that the settings indicated on the gauges would be maximum settings, and your best results usually be much lower. As an example, the rear has a max setting of 45, while they usually operate best somewhere between 32-40. Rear trailing air is used when machine is going rear to front and has a max setting of 10, but best results are usually from 3-5PSI.

You could increase the rear bumper dwell time to improve quality in that area, and you could also slow down the trunk wash speed so it travels slower after the rear wheels are detected. If you slow it down though, you will need to also adjust the timer that tells it how far reverse to travel (D970). Please use caution on this one though because you really just want the top brush to get to the top part of the roof. As MGSMN mentioned above, you don't want the front arms to be able to come in behind the rear of the vehicle.

The Ryko machine will never clean as well as my Istobal. Simple design difference.

Maybe not, but coach is trying to maximize his product with the machine he has.

Also - coach don’t you have preppers? Can they address this issue when necessary?

Yes, they do, but sometimes they're so busy they can't.
Ryko tech reached out to me &, they have an option to install some longer brushes on top of the tall front arms. They have been met w/ a LOT of success, so I think i will try that simple fix.
Mac may be somewhat correct, but his machine is FAR slower than mine. About 25% slower.😰

Because Jesus didn't build theses machines, not one of them will be perfect. Life if full of compromises.
