Hi/Lo or Lo/Hi presoak

In what order have you guys found to be the best cleaning for 2 step presoak on a touchless IBA? I am currently doing Hi/Lo but wonder if I would be better off going Lo PH first then Hi PH.

I am Hi/Lo. I've tried both ways and this seem to be a little better where I am. I am contemplating doing away with the Lo Ph all together. Reason being is that during hard cleaning seasons I am kicking up the Hi Ph as per chemical guys suggestion. Seems counter productive adding the Lo Ph over the top of this. If I add another pass of Hi Ph I would keep the strength and add dwell time. Everything I put on after is a Lo PH so it would take care of any of the neutralizing that needed to be done.

Good question. We have been running Lo/Hi for 20 years and we just switched one location to Hi/Lo as an experiment. There are advantages to both methods and it depends on the type of dirt/film on the cars you are washing in your area.

I used to be a Lo/ Hi two step, but now I am just Hi/Hi. I fine this works better on cars that are dirty but not muddy.

Good topic ahead of salt season. We are Lo/Hi on all our touch-less autos but Hi/Hi is intriguing. I find that the Lo really only cleans the chrome and metal trim and glass a bit too.

It seems like a previous thread talked about the type of soils in a certain area & even specific time of year in the area as the reasons for using low pH???

I switched from Hi/Lo to Hi/Hi. The Lo was just eating through my connections and swivels just too fast. I haven't noticed a difference in cleaning power since I switched.

I use hi/lo. My ArmorAll rep set it up that way. I have three black vehicles, and it does great on all the various dirt/grime my vehicles have seen. Black will certainly show it if not clean. Therefore, I feel no need to change it.
