I am about to put a order together for spare parts for my WashWorld Razor and was wondering what High Pressure Check Valve companies do you think put out a quality check valve whether it be 1/2", 3/4" or 1"?.

There are a lot of good ones, but since you are using this in a touchless with aggressive chemicals, get one with a stainless body and rated for at least twice the pressure you are using.

After 2 decades of running the gamut.....we've found that the Fluid Control check valves work the best.

There's ONE exception. We run a dual presoak system in our touchless automatic. Step 1 is moderately aggressive and has some HF in it. The ONLY setup that worked (on the Step 1 presoak lines)....was a Generant check valve with an Inconel spring. Inconel was the only metal that wouldn't disintegrate from the HF.

I had the same thing happen with a 1/4" Fluid Controls check valve, the flow through it was so strong it broke off the plastic retainer tabs and the guts jammed up in the nipple on the outlet.

I've never tried the General Pump check valve you linked, but I've had good luck with most everything they make except their pumps, go figure.

Fluid Controls checkvalves are not what they used to be. Definitely don’t use them unless you bought the ones with either stainless or Teflon poppet retainers. The plastic retainers are guaranteed to break.

I stopped using them and switched to the General check valves you referenced. Have used the 1/2” and 3/4” with good success. Plus they’re rebuildable, just make sure to use lock tight when reassembling.

I went with the General Pump check valve and yes it looks a lot more solidly built then the Fluid Controls even my tech from PCS said to go with General Pump Check Valves.

I would suggest you custom order from Check-all check valve. You can custom build any style check valve you want including body material, seal material etc etc etc. This was the only way I could ever have something that would last longer than the normal 1 month with the standard valves from kleen rite, dultmeier etc. Now that I think of it my problem would always be the spring disappearing within weeks from acid so once I got it encapsulated with teflon problem solved. Things like this they can accomplish. Just a FYI
