MEP001 Well-known member Jul 22, 2013 #2 It's usually meant for a 1 1/2" threaded fitting to pass through and be secured with conduit nuts. I've always used PVC pipe.

Ghetto Wash Active member Jul 22, 2013 #3 1 1/2" spa hose. Cement fittings on it just like rigid pvc pipe. Get it at your local Home Depot.
C cantbreak80 Maybe I need new clubs Jul 22, 2013 #4 I always welded a stub of 1-1/2" tubing (i.e. automotive exhaust pipe) and used 1-1/2" SmoothBor vacuum hose to connect to the meter box. Just make sure the vac hose is installed without a "p-trap". Yikes!
