At the risk of sounding ignorant, I will pose the following query.

Do I need a hot water storage tank at home?

I have ample hot water supply for showering via my HB Smith Oil-fired furnace with 'on demand' hot water. However the system falls short for filling the tub in the Master Bath with scalding, hot water (which is what I require for a proper bath).

All the never seize I've been using and subsequently wearing needs a good,,extended 110 degree F soak to emulsify!

TIA; wax:D

Since it's "on-demand," can you just reduce the fill rate to get hotter water? If not, a storage tank would be a solution, but it would defeat the whole purpose of an on-demand system.

How about a cold water storage to warm the water up to room temp a little before that once a month splash
