My receipt printer is not working on my SNC. I sent it out and had it repaired and it tests OK. I now get an error message that says "printer port failed to initialize". I had a computer guru in and he said he could not find where the software was assigning the com ports. He says it is probably in the SNC software itself but he cannot find it. We want to assign the printer to a different port to see if that fixes the problem. We also are not sure why it is showing com port 15 as being used when there is nothing connected to the serial cable. I am trying to keep this system limping along for now and JCC wants me to send it to them for the fix.
