Replacing an old unit and we are seeking opinions on how many wash options do you offer on your IBA ? is 3 enough if you have the option for 4 would you use 4? How about pricing spacing (Example $10 bronze $15 silver $20 gold $ 25 platinum) Just curious to see what others are offering? Any feedback is apricated

Keno, when you switch to 3, are you just getting rid of the bottom one, or are you also redesigning them? Just curious because I’ve seen some operators just dump the economy/wet wash and not have that option any more.

I have four choices with a six dollar difference between my bottom and a top package. I'm going to change things around a little bit this year and eliminate my wash that does not include underbody. I'm going to add a super premium package for the top wash with multiple passes and products applied. I'm seeing a lot of bigger vehicles go through the automatic and even at my premium prices now, it still seems like a very good deal for the customer to get say a very large four-door pick up truck with the cap washed and dried and the underbody wash for the price of my top package. If I were hand washing a vehicle like that I would charge $75+ and it would take two employees 45 minutes to an hour to complete .
We are getting rid of the basic wash and lowering our prices overall, so 2 changes at once trying to build back volume. Someone installed a new razor in town in a wash that was closed down.
