How to alarm changer

My changer is at the back of my building and gets hit periodically. How have you guys alarmed your changers?? Do you use a vibration sensor?

If it gets "hit" from outside, you'd need a shock sensor to protect it. You wouldn't be as well protected with a contact switch because by the time they set it off they'll already be in.

So I should investigate shock sensors not vibration sensors. And wire it into my existing alarm system or set it up to sound a deafening alarm right above the changer.
