How to find a quality Manager

I am restructuring my wash this spring and I have decided to go to a hybrid setup with hand washing and laser washing.

Essentially we will offer all the services of a full service hand wash as well as continueing to let people use the laser wash equipment for an Express option.

What is the best way to find a quality hand wash and detail manager?

thanks,

Trevor

Years ago, when I was a manager at full serv carwashes, I trained the best personnel to be future managers. Worked with them daily to make sure they knew what their responsibilities were. Keep in mind that as the manager goes, so goes the carwash.
A sloppy manager with no eye for detail will run a sloppy wash. A well organized manager with a good eye for detail will turn our good clean cars and keep your labor under control.

If you do find a good way to find a quality m,anager, please let us know how you did it.

I always grow my own. But, if thats not an option, look for one during your daily travels. I've recruited a few good employees from other places I do business with. Is there a place you frequent that has someone working there who gives you exemplary service? A really sharp guy or gal who you could offer a better employment opportunity? If you find the right person, you should be able to teach them how to run the business.
