I am strengthening the protection of my vacuums which have been getting attacked. So I am wanting to get ahead of the game in case the vandals focus their attention on the equipment room door.

Right now I just have a traditional round handle lock and separate deadbolt lock. What are some options to better security? It is a metal door.

I have mounted some stainless angle iron on the door and door jamb that I put a large round big boy lock on. It has worked for me.

Of course there are alarm sensors triggered if the door opens and motion sensors in the room- right?

Yes I have a central alarm system.

The problem with an exterior steel door is that the entry door is right near the main changer. No matter which side it was hinged on it would impede people wanting to use the changer.
