Hello,

We are need to the self serve car wash business. The previous owner had issues with the credit card readers being stolen. The credit card readers were attached to the faceplate previously. From anyone’s experience, what are best solutions to making the credit card readers theft and tamper proof ? Below is a photo of the face plate of where credit card reader use to be attached to. There’s a plexy glass that sits on top of the faceplate.

I hate to say this and don’t feel bad when I say this. If the car wash looks as bad as it looked in May of this year you need to spend some quality time at the car wash and give it a lot of love. Remove the plexy glass from the coin box face, re-sticker/decal the faceplate. Once you get everything cleaned up then reinstall your credit card readers, I’m assuming they are Cryptopay readers. I don’t know how you can make them anymore secure. It’s the low life clientele that come to the car wash that steal these sort of things for what purpose who knows.
