HP Water Tanks Overflowing.. Help!

I installed (2) hudson valves on my HP water tanks about 9 mo ago - they have been working flawlessly..I had an issue prior to installing these when my HP tanks would overflow particularly on cold winter days when my weeps were running.

Well - getting cold and as luck would have it my tanks are overflowing yet again.. I can't for the life of me figure it out - almost like I have back pressure coming from somewhere in that line - Has anyone else experienced this in the past?

It's most likely the weep coming back through the pump or plumbing. There may be a check valve on the line back to the tank, but if the weep is on the outlet of the pump you have a problem with the pump because it should not allow backflow through it.

I had the same problem a few years ago. One of the check valves in weep system was bad and it was allowing water to flow back and over flow the tanks.
