Only ICA members can access Wash Count. Arguably, this is one possible reason for few responses at this venue.
The program collects data on cars washed and carwash revenues so members can benchmark based on geography and car wash type.
Due to the limited number of variables, causality cannot be inferred from the findings.
For example, there are no traffic counts, conveyor length, days open or other variables from which to draw correlations.
I suspect this volunteer program is a cost cutting measure.
According to the literature, ICA has spent as much as $70,000 for its semi-annual consumer studies and cost of doing business reports.
