I think the ICA water savers program is general is good idea. I am not sure that I support Wand wash nozzles below 3 gpm but that is just me. What kind of bugs me about the water savers program is a double standard as I see it. It is only concerned with the water used per wash not really the overall picture of total water used during a period of time.. I have seen several programs of "Unlimited Washes per Month" spring up especially at express wash locations. This encourages people to wash their car more often they really need to so overall water usage is going to be higher than it would be if they were washing on a as needed basis. If a car is dirty then we should wash it. If it is not and we still wash it then aren't we really wasting water. I would think that a part of the water savers program should also be a ban on unlimited wash type of programs because they only encourage wasting water. Let the DEBATE begin.
