That we are in an industry where the revenue source is constantly renewing itself. The cars and trucks are constantly getting washed then dirty, in an endless, renewable cycle! Road construction, pollen, wood stove ash, bugs, and mud all create dirty car conditions that require washing!
Tight economic times necesstitate many folks protect their car so they can keep it longer. That means washing and waxing to fend off body rust.
Detail-wise, the same opportunities exist, plus spills, scuffs, scratches, overspray, road tar and kid-goo! People who need to get a few extra bucks from selling a vehicle always do better when the vehicle is spiffy and waxed.
We are fortunate, indeed. People may not need more 'stuff'. But they need us. Folks feel better in a clean car and a clean car has many monetary benefits as well.
