Bubbles,
At the last big laundry trades "Clean Show" I stopped at the Imonex Booth & I was surprised at how far along they have come & with almost every size
coin drop imaginable. The few
coin inserts & drops that I have bought from them I have had good reliability. They sell mostly to the amusement industry who tend to use shorter drops. They have much more available than what is listed in
KleenRite & the other Car Wash catalogs. If you get "Butch" on the phone it is possible he has what the other companies don't. They aren't quite as electronically dependent as some but are definitely better & more versatile than the totally mechanical ones such as the original "CoinTech" ones found in a lot of older Vacuums.
Back to the 2 similar Magic Mist Machines, On page 195 of the
KleenRite 2009 Catalog there appears to be yours with a partial parts breakdown. On page 351 there is a stripped down newer model except that it has a dog wash decal. Someone gave me the impression that it functions the same as the one that has a partial parts breakdown except the customer supplies his own timer & compressor. I talked to Keith at
KleenRite last Friday & he was going to get back to me but I thought I would tap into what the Forum is all about in terms of creating a more unbiased understanding of the equipment. Big Leo says there is no pump. Keith says there is a peristaltic pump that squeezes a tube.
Have you ever had any success with talking directly to the Magic Mist Factory in Jonesboro, Arkansas? Is there a part breakdown &/or service manual for your machine?
If the product is worthwhile I could order it but obviously I would rather not if I can't make it work with my own square tubing supported 14 gauge stainless wall within my soon to be open dog wash.
In other words, I will have to junk their stainless steel enclosure to be able to have the selector switch & hose in the proper place in relation to each tub.
Thanks to everyone for any unbiased information &/or pics that you actually take the time to share with me.
