I'm having a few problems with my Water Wizard 1.0. I've spent time on the phone with JC and they just tell me "If it works in manual mode there isn't anything wrong with it". It starts off with the undercarriage not working than the presoak comes on on the sides and gantry. It sprays soap until just passed the windshield and then the presoak pump shuts off but the air keeps blowing all of the way to the back of the car. The water and the rocker/tire spray works just fine. It makes the water(pressure) pass without any issues. When it comes to the "tri-color pass nothing happens the sign on the gantry flashes tri-color for just a second and then it makes the pass without doing anything. The next water (pressure) pass works as does the dryer pass. I get an occasional "home prox sensor" alert but it always lands back at the start.

Any ideas what I should look for? I've been through the manual but just don't know where to start.
Thanks
Bill

I had a similar "weird" erratic behavior from my 1.0 the last few weeks. The first problem that I discovered was that my wheel count prox cable was bad. I was able to see this because the #7 input (inside the gantry) was not blinking on and off when I ran the gantry up and down the track. This was an intermittent problem and a real problem to troubleshoot, but it did make all the other functions crazy. Then after I thought I had this problem taken care of, the motors on the air solenoids and high pressure solenoids started clicking and making it sound like the whole machine was hiccupping. A real good technician at my distributor told me he was quite sure that I had a loose 24 volt AC or DC wire. He told me to take each wire off the terminal strip inside the gantry and make sure that it was reconnected well. I spent an hour and I have been up and running for about a week now with no problems. I would recommend doing this because if one of these wires are loose all hell can break loose.

I know you probably dont have tri-foam on all washes but does it happen on other washes as well?
If it only happens on the one wash I would try to reprogram or change the wash no and program it to the correct cycles

Sounds like you might have more than one thing going wrong here,I would check the low pressure solenoids on the driver side of gantry, if the ele. connection is not good it will cause the product/ air not to flow.
As far as undercarriage check the solenoid in the high pressure panel on the passenger side of the gantry, if these check ok and you can make all cycles work from the red lion you may have a wiring problem.
Have you had any kind of ele. problems that has caused you to loose power for any period of time?

Thanks for the replies.

I had a chance to look at this today. When I manually check (run) it it all works as it should. I didn't have the chance to check the individual solenoids but it seems more like the circuit is shutting off as the pump stops (shuts off) pumping. The only error I've ever gotten was the home prox error and I've confirmed that it's working. I haven't tried it on the different wash levels yet I'm gonna call over and have them run a lower cycle to see if it works.
Thanks
