Had some vandals cut through the three wires to the dryer raise / lower photo eyes, they cut through the wires of the three photo eye senders on the left hand side of the dryer carriage. The photo eyes are not labelled, so I opened up the junction box in the centre of the dryer carriage, and belled out the three wires 153, 155 and 157 to identify the three wires going to the sender units. I hen tried to pair them up, by reconnecting, tried every combination, but was unable to get the dryer carriage to contour the vehicle when a wash was in progress. Checked the LED's on DI23 module and found that DI2, was not coming on at any time. Swapped over the receivers to prove that it was not a hardware fault. At the beginning of the dry cycle, the carriage starts to come down, and then returns to the fully up position. Can any one ponit me in the right direction, for my next step?

What all lights are lit on the DI23 Module when the dryer is in the home position ready to do a dry cycle?

I'm looking at the schematic and it seems that you have the correct wiring. Here is my concern, when they cut the wires they would have shorted wire 100 to 112. That could easily take out your DI23 module. Do any lights ever light up on DI23?

Good point Mac. Also, if he is not getting an input to DI2 the dryer will not come down, because the machine thinks something is blocking the lifting eyes.

Found the problem! Although the cable continuity proved o.k. when belled out, one of the wires must have been pulled, continuity being by one strand of the flexible cable, stripped the cables back and reconnected, problem solved.
