JE Adams coin acceptor lock

DJGall

Dirty Dawg
Gentleman,

I have a lock that secures the upper portion of the controls for a JE Adams vac...not the coin drawer lock, but the coin validator lock. It is surrounded by Stainless Steel and you can only access the key slot from below....very secure.

My problem...well...the lock is jammed up and I can't get it to budge. I've lubed 'er up, but it won't unlock and drop out.

Please contact me direct to provide "suggestions" for getting the lock loose. My only idea is to drill it from the top side and make the "stud" drop.

Thanks, D.J.

If it that brass body lock that locks on to the stud, do what the crooks do, twist a large sheet metal screw into the key way and grip it with vise grips and smack it with a hammer downward, it should yank out the keyway.
