How can we keep our rinse water warm when it sits in the holding tank for a long period of time (overnight). The customers that come early in the morning end up getting a cold rinse because the water has sat there all night. It ends up freezing on their car. Any ideas?

What kind of water heater do you have now? Can you recirculate

If you feed the tank with hot water, it doesn't take much to keep it hot. A cartridge heater might be all you need.

I know a guy that covered his tank with foam insulation. He said it helped retain heat quite a bit.

I run a Watlow immersion heater in my hot water holding tank for my self serve. I run cold rinse. I figure the electric is free in the winter because the heat loss helps heat the equipment room. Dultmeier sales handles the Watlow heaters.
