Wish it was a month or two earlier in the year when the weather was a bit better. It would make for a nice vacation destination in Sept. after Labor Day.

My main manager who was originally from Pennsylvania went to one of the KleenRite Expos & we picked up some very useful info that we used later such as Z boom improvements & other worthwhile increased understanding etc. Him & his wife also had a great time & good worthwhile fellowship.

getting tickets to the KR expo now for the 3 or 4th time. weather is usually decent there- almost no jackets--great show- lots of prizes--i kind of like it better than the ICA. Only one day!- free!-- lots of things to see in the area. One year went to Hershey,PA,
once we drove down to Charlotteville,VA. to Jeffersons Monticello. Last time drove up to Niagara Falls. This time trying Washington DC. The one year we went to see the large carwash that was on Mondern Marvels in PA. Also to the Kutztown Carwash. Why not have an educational getaway

Cloister Carwash is a must see if you are in the area. We happened to run into Mike Mountz, who was the owner at that time. He was walking the lot picking up trash. What a great guy. He spearheaded the Grace for Vets program.

Also to the Kutztown Carwash.
LOL, John is the only visitor we ever had, he got to see how we run a shoestring budget wash in a small rural town! Sorry we were in the middle of our grace for vets event & couldnt be better hosts.

I think KR does a really nice job with this show, I look forward to it every year. The show is a lot like a smaller regional show, except its only 1 day, its free and with free lunch, supply discounts, and door prize drawings. (which unfortunately I wont win this year because Jamie cant make it! seriously, she won a door prize every single year!)
Is it worth it? Well, thats kind of an individual thing. I think it is, but its only an hour drive for me. I dont think I'd fly in, but if I could drive it in a reasonable amount of time, needed supplies, and had the time then I'd go.
IMO you should do as John says, combine business and pleasure. NYC, Phila, and DC are only a couple hour drive. Lancaster is a popular tourist destination, as is Hershey (idk if the amusement park is open though). Ric & john are right, cloister car wash is worth seeing. It is just a car wash so dont get too excited, it's not the taj mahal or anything, but its less than an hour away and if you're in the car wash business how could you not want to see it?
