I am a long time reader of the forum and have been in the carwash business for almost thirty years, man what a long ride. My question is this. has anyone out there ever eliminated the dump valve on their laser 4000. I have two that are leaking and causing issues. I believe this is a lexair valve and I could not find a repair kit for it. They are pricey valves and I really do not purge that much between cycles. I know washworld never used the dump but i have not seen one of their arches. Any help would be appreciated. thanks

We don't run LW4000 controllers anymore, so I can't give you the numbers. We did adjust our timers a little bit, just " play" around with the arch dump timer ,and LP delay, you'll find a good place to set them.

Like I said it was years ago.

I really don't know anything about plugging them but they do make a repair kit. You should be able to get it from your distributor. I don't remember how much but they are very simple to do. Mine last a long time, atleast a few years.

Got rid of all of mine as well, no issues. Just add a few seconds to the delay before the the pre-soaks begin to travel across the front of the car so that the product is flushed prior to the next pre-soak. Assuming you have a two step pre-soak.

Talked to washworld and pdq, they do not make a repair kit anymore for this valve. The old valve had a brass body, the new valve is now stainless. If anyone knows of a repair kit part # that would be great. I do not think they exist. Washworld never used a dump valve and pdq told me they just replace them, no repairs.
