Laurel Tree out of service ?

I replaced 2 of my mechanical tree columns with new tree electric tree columns a few years ago. I’m having issues with one. Coins were getting rejected, no code, no out of service, just rejecting. Swapped other board and acceptor, cycled when repowered, dispensed tree once, then out of service. No code. Tried clearing code pushing up and down button, motor cycles, then out of service again no code. Pushed all push buttons for each column, got beep, displayed price, but no codes

Chip was great, kind of an odd problem. Ended up in the cup motor. The motor was good; however the motor has 2 wires soldered to 2 posts. I had to bend the posts up a little away from the motor.

a bad motor would need to cycle, or at least try. If it doesn’t cycle fast enough an out of order code will show. In my case, as soon as I plugged in power to the cup motor the out of order message appeared with activating motor.
